About the infrared forehead thermometer from Purea

This version thermometer mainly uses IR temperature sensing of the forehead to measure human body temperature and using the updated 2020 version of new algorithm to ensure accuracy.

It can be used for babies, children, and adults. Babies and children should not operate the thermometer on their own. Body temperature readings for babies and children should be taken by an adult. Reminder- Temperature readings may differ according to skin tone and measurement distance.

1. Installing the product

（1） Insert the 2 battery cells from the packaging box into the battery compartment at the back of the device.

（2） The product will start automatic inspection and a standby mode (if the device indicates low battery power, then replace the batteries to ensure ample power supply)

2. Temperature unit selection

（1）Under power off mode, Press and hold the Measure Button for 8 seconds. The measurement system( °C or °F)automatically appears on the display.

（2）Keep hold the measure button, the unit °C and °F will be switched automatically Release the button when the selected unit appeared, the device be auto into measure ready status. The unit selected is active.

Contraindications

It is not recommended for people whose measuring part has local lesions, such as inflammation, trauma, postoperative, etc.

How to use Purea Forehead Thermometer?

（1） Ear temperature measurement

– Remove the thermometer cap.

– Put the thermometer probe gently into your ear canal and make sure you feel comfortable,

– When the probe enters into the ear canal, press the measure button”lightly. When hearing the beeper sounds, the measurement is completed and you can take out the thermometer and check the measurement result.

（2）Forehead temperature measurement

– Put the thermometer cap on

– Aim the thermometer probe at the center of your forehead and touch the skin slightly
